The founder opened the practice on Long Island in 1999. It grew the way small local practices grow: one referral at a time, one return at a time, without a marketing budget or a franchise sign. Twenty-seven years later, that is still how it grows.
Three people prepare and review returns. The founder is moving toward a review-only role, so every return is looked at by two sets of eyes before it is filed. That was not always the case at this practice; it is the case now.
You do not get shuffled between preparers. The person who did your return last year is likely the same person doing it this year, and the person reviewing it is the person who taught them.
